Practical Vision was founded in 2001 based on the concept that if a company can stay one step of ahead of the competition, it will be at a significant competitive advantage. Our goal is to be the preeminent developer of forecasts for companies going through rapid change. We believe that the highest function of an accounting and finance group is to help companies clearly see the range of possible futures that they are likely to encounter. Since no major accreditation (CPAs, CMAs, CFAs, or even an MBA) offers extensive training on how to forecast effectively, we have found a pervasive need for development, training and implementation of forecasting in small, medium and large companies.
Our team of former CFOs, COOs and CTOs provide companies with experienced, practical advice on how to leverage the back office to grow sales and operations more rapidly. Since each member of our team has run their own business, we “walk-the-talk” and are willing to roll up our sleeves to develop and train people on forecasting, raise capital, fix broken systems, and hire and train staff as required.
We take the time to help our customers identify the key leading indicators of success and then motivate people to focus on those key metrics on an ongoing basis. The forecast is the tool that links goals with action and provides the score card to keep companies focused on the target of reaching their goals.
